Introducing Android 15's Simplified Mode: Enhanced Accessibility for Seniors
To cater to the needs of older users, Android 15 introduces a simplified mode that makes it easier for them to navigate smartphones.
This mode simplifies the user interface by enlarging app icons and text, making them more legible. It also boldens fonts for better visibility.
Android 15's simplified mode is currently in development and will be officially announced at the Android 15 launch event.
While not yet accessible in Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1, the feature was discovered by developers as both Android 14 QPR and Android 15 are being developed simultaneously.
Android 15's developer preview is expected in the first half of 2023, with the stable version releasing in the second half. The Google Pixel series will be the first to receive Android 15.
