Apple Introduces Groundbreaking iPad Pro with M4 Chip
Apple has unveiled the latest generation of its iPad Pro, featuring the groundbreaking M4 chip, marking a significant leap in tablet performance.
Unrivaled Performance
Powered by Apple's cutting-edge 3nm technology, the M4 chip boasts a 10-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores. This translates to a 50% increase in CPU power compared to its predecessor, the M2.
Additionally, the M4 chip features a 10-core GPU, delivering a 4-fold speed boost over the M2. The inclusion of a 16-core neural engine enables an astonishing 38 trillion operations per second.
Enhanced Thermal Management
For the first time, Apple has implemented a dedicated thermal management system in the iPad Pro. The rear chassis now features graphite heat-dissipating material, while the Apple logo serves as a copper heat sink, resulting in a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency.
Exceptional Display
The new iPad Pro showcases a stunning dual-layer OLED display, providing a maximum brightness of 1100 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 1600 nits. Apple dubs this technology "Ultra Retina XDR."
Notably, users can now opt for a matte glass finish, enhancing visibility and reducing reflections during creative tasks.
The device's slim profile is attributed to the OLED panel, with the 11-inch model measuring 5.3mm and the 13-inch model measuring 5.1mm. Weights range from 445 grams to 580 grams.
Storage and Pricing
The new iPad Pro is available with storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The 11-inch model starts at $899, while the 13-inch model starts at $1149. Pre-orders open today, with sales commencing next week.
New Magic Keyboard
Apple has also unveiled a redesigned Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro. It features a thinner and lighter design, a larger trackpad, and additional function keys. Two color options are available.
